The Harvest Pantry came to me because, although satisfied with the design of their current labels from a technical perspective, the design wasn’t doing anything to jump off the all-important retail shelves. As the fermented product industry grows, it becomes more and more important to be highly visible to new customers. Given the imperative to use bold colour, I created a template that was easy to implement across various flavours. Minor tweaks to the template allowed a distinct look for the kimchi flavours. The result has loads of personality and presence in the refrigerated section.

When The Harvest Pantry approached me, I quickly realized that they were passionate about their products and were committed to making them the best they could be. They were also determined to expand their customer base and attract new buyers to their fermented products.

To achieve this goal, we started by reviewing their existing labels and discussing what worked well and what could be improved. We wanted to create a design that would be both visually appealing and informative, providing customers with the necessary information about the product while also catching their eye and enticing them to try it.

We decided to create a template that could be easily adapted to each of their products, with strong branding elements and bold colors that would make them stand out on the shelf. By using a consistent design system across all of their products, we were able to create a cohesive and recognizable brand image that would help them stand out in a crowded market.

Once we had the template in place, we were able to make minor tweaks and adjustments for each individual flavor, creating a unique look for each product while maintaining the overall brand image. We also made sure to include important information such as the ingredients and nutritional information, making it easy for customers to understand what they were buying.

The resulting labels were a huge success, and The Harvest Pantry saw a significant increase in sales and customer engagement. The bold and eye-catching design helped them stand out on the shelves and attract new customers who were interested in trying something new and unique.
